Thermaco Management Buyout – November 2023

Thermaco Limited is pleased to announce completion of a management buyout and the appointment of a new Board of Directors.

Thermaco Limited is a leading supplier of Thermal Management Solutions, Gas & Electro-mechanical components to the UK manufacturing industry and is a proud partner of some of the world’s leading manufacturers.

Completed on 30th November 2023, the MBO heralds a new era for Thermaco Limited, which celebrates its 45th year of trading this year.

The new Board, comprised of Heather Bucktin, Chris Newman, and James Styles, have a combined total of 40+ years’ service with Thermaco. The MBO allows business to continue with a familiar leadership team and facilitates the retirement of our existing shareholders, allowing Thermaco to continue to drive forward into the future.

Heather has been at Thermaco for 16 years, primarily as the Financial Controller, but also served on the previous board as Company Secretary and occupied the role of General Manager.

Chris was originally employed in the warehouse in 2002, and has worked his way through Purchasing, Internal Sales, and Product Management to be part of the Senior Management Team prior to the MBO.

James joined the company in 2015, initially as Internal Sales Coordinator, before becoming Product Manager & National Sales Manager for the gas sales division of the business and was also part of the Senior Management Team prior to the MBO.

We would like to thank Alan Walker, Stuart Read & Grahame Bentley for their dedication, drive, and dissemination of knowledge over the past 23 years as Directors and Shareholders of Thermaco Limited. We look forward to continuing the long-standing success of Thermaco Limited and are excited for the prospect of remaining at the forefront of innovative design solutions for the UK manufacturing market.

The MBO has ensured a seamless transition of control for the business, preserving relationships already developed between the company and its customers, as well as proffering opportunities for the team to implement our vision and drive towards the future of the business.
